Since then Trevor has worked as a management consultant focusing on people related organisational development issues, project management, manufacturing process improvement and management development training. Trevor is an assessor and internal verifier for the UK \'s National Vocational Qualification system and a Director of Proud City Co-op Ltd, an accredited centre for City & Guilds of London and Institute of Leadership and Management qualifications. Trevor\'s first involvement with GLBT community sport dates back to 1998 when he became involved in a project to set up a range of new GLBT sports groups which included the formation of Manchester\'s first GLBT swimming Club, Northern Wave. Under his leadership Northern Wave has become a leading community sports group, stimulating the formation of new sports and leisure groups and supportive business and community networks. Northern Wave is a member of EGLSF and GLISA and has over 500 active members.
In 2004, Trevor helped launch \'Team Manchester\' a voluntary association of GLBT sports groups in Greater Manchester - He is currently Chair. There are now 14 GLBT sports groups.
In 2003 Trevor secured a 3 year project from the British Government\'s Home Office to increase volunteering in the GLBT community through community sports and activity and this led to Greater Manchester\'s first GLBT multi-sports events.
In 2005 Trevor led and directed the largest multi-sport event ever in the North West of England with Pride Games 2005. Pride Games had 14 sporting activities, started 3 new sports groups, included a whole section of taster sports billed as \'Sport For All\', developed relationships with national sporting bodies, and supported and trained existing clubs to be more independently sustainable. A big voluntary team effort with over 200 volunteers.
