Jean-Sébastien studied, at Université de la Réunion (France), French Public Law at the Master's level, obtained his Law degree from the University of Laval in 2000 and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2001. He worked in Québec city for 2 years as an intern. After being called to the Québec bar he started working as a international business and immigration lawyer in Hong Kong in 2002, he was transferred to Beijing in 2003 to open a law firm, then came back to Montreal in the Summer of 2004 to set up another law firm.
In 2006, Jean-Sébastien took a break from law and joined the 1st World Outgames as part of the marketing team as well as legal counsel for the Managing team. Jean-Sébastien has joined the GLISA board in 2006 after working for the 1st World Outgames in Montreal.
Jean-Sébastien is currently involved with Volley Boreal in Montreal, which is the volley ball league regrouping more the 300 members. He has been involved in international development for many years and has travel all over the world, mostly in Asia.
Jean-Sébastien is proud to be a member of the GLISA board and hopes to make a difference in the world regarding LGBT sports and human rights.
