Director International Federations - Debbie Storrs has a BBA in Business Management and has worked in property & facility management for the last 17 years. When she’s not working, she’s volunteering. Debbie’s contributions to the GLBT and broader community include, serving as, current Secretary for the International Association of Gay & Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs (IAGLCWDC – or “iggle-wiggle” as they are affectionately known), Past President (3 years) of Rainbow Rangler Dance Club, and International Rep for 2 years.
She has also served as the Delegate for the Houston GLBT Chamber of Commerce, and 2 terms as President of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She co-chaired the US SBA Women Business Enterprise Conferences – nation wide and was awarded the SBA Women Business Advocate of the year in 1983.
Debbie is also the Founder of WIG – Womens Investment Group, whose mission is to educate women on trading in the stock market.
In 1987 she directed the International Summer Special Olympics in South Bend Indiana .
Debbie’s primary interest in joining GLISA was to contribute to the Sport Technical Committee. In addition to that she also serves as a Director for GLISA’s International Federations. |
